River Heart

A lyric ensemble of medieval music and mystical tales, River Heart welcomes you to come journey with us as we explore a world of enchanting songs and magical stories from the Middle Age tradition.

ARTISTS Peter Hughes is a concert violinist, who has played widely in symphony and concert performances throughout the New England area, as well as many theatre productions. Edwin Merck is a medieval recorder performer, who has performed nationally and in Europe with several Renaissance and medieval chamber groups and orchestras. Alan O’Hare is a shenachie, a Celtic storyteller, who has written, performed and directed nationally and internationally at universities, theatres and concert halls.
